The works exhibited here were created in the period between 2005 and 2006. I present them as part of a project I am currently working on, as a result of thinking about the relations between a work of art and the public, that is, man, which are manifested through play, in this case – a puzzle (puzzles).

The actual term puzzle points to something that is put together. It is an object whose base is 220 x 220 cm, and within it there are eight 50 x 50 cm frames; the sixteenth frame is missing because the above-mentioned fifteen frames can be moved. The fifteen frames are provided with tracks, which enable them to move (slide) in all directions.

As in art, playing provides joy, the possibility of recapturing lost values and discovering new ones.
The viewers touch the puzzle, shift its pieces... Parts of a whole get shifted, are mutually linked, thereby providing another whole (picture-drawing...).

The puzzle creates order and rules, it is simple, direct, communicative and, first of all, entirely clear.

The viewer is actively involved in the work, he/she directly participates in the realisation of the idea through his/her acts.

Radovi koje izlažem nastali su u periodu između 2005, i 2006. godine. Predstavljam ih kao deo projekta na kome trenutno radim, kao rezultat razmišljanja o odnosima između umetničkog dela i publike, odnosno čoveka, a oni se manifestuje i kroz igru, u ovom slučaju slagalicu(e).

Sama reč slagalica upućuje na nešto što se slaže. To je objekat čija je osnova veličine 220 x 220 cm, i unutar te osnove se nalazi petnaest ramova dimenzija 50x 50 cm, a šesnaesti ram nedostaje jer se pomera petnaest ramova. Na petnaest ramova se nalaze šine koje im omogućavaju pomeranje (klizanje) u svim pravcima.

Kao i u umetnosti, igra pruža uživanje, mogućnost ponavljanja izgubljenih vrednosti i mogućnost otkrivanja novih.
Slagalica publika dodiruje, pomera... Delovi jedne celine se pomeraju, povezuju međusobno, i na taj način daju drugu celinu (sliku-crtež...).

Slagalica stvara red i pravila, ona je jednostavna, direktna, komunikativna i, pre svega, u celini jasna.

Posmatrač je aktivno uključen u delo, svojim činom direktno učestvuje u realizaciji ideje.
