In the past, while I was drawing I imagined that a drawing could replace reality: I drew motifs that did not exist in reality (or at least not in my surroundings) and situations that could not happen in reality. These drawings became a collection of my completely realised wishes – on paper: the result of a literally understood act of creation.

And then I wished to transpose the motifs from those drawings into reality.

Or at least to try.

Ranije dok sam crtala zamišljala sam da crtež može da zameni stvarnost: crtala sam motive kojih nije bilo u stvarnosti (ili bar ne u mom okruženju) i situacije koje nisu mogle da se dese u njoj. Ti crteži su postali kolekcija mojih želja potpuno ostvarenih – na papiru: razultat jednog bukavlno shvaćenog čina stvaranja.

A zatim sam želela da motive sa tih crteža prenesem u stvarnost.

Ili bar da pokušam.
