The artists Ana Adamović has been the laureat of the main Award of 51st October Salon. At 51st OS, Ana Adamovic participates with video works "Canzone", which is an homage to an old age and memory, and “Madlene”, the work dedicated to the lost time of the generation of the mid-70's 20th century, the generation to whom Ana herself belongs. The award was decided by single person jury - Rene Block, who also awarded two more awards.
The first one belonged to the South African artist William Cantridge for the Lifetime Achievement, while the other award went to the Danish artist Eva Koch, being the Award for her contribution to the conception of the 51st OS. Eva Koch participates at 51^st OS with works "NoMad" (1998) and "Convergence". As an upcoming star, jury consisting of Sasa Janjic, Svetlana Petrovic and Mia David awarded the Award of the Cultural Center of Belgrade to the Italian artist Rosa Barba, for the presented installation "The Long Road". This award includes a solo exhibition in the Art Gallery of the Cultural Center of Belgrade during 2012th.
